Most workplace wellness feels like one more thing on the to-do list. This isn't that.
We've spent our first season guiding small groups through slowing down on a lavender farm and forest by the river. Now we're bringing the same simple, supportive practices to your team, in your space, in the middle of the workday.
Modern work environments are often fast-paced and mentally demanding. Over time, held stress, packed schedules, and constant mental chatter lead to burnout, emotional depletion, and fatigue.
At Get Calm, we don’t offer generic corporate exercises or performative routines. We bring simple, grounded, and accessible practices into your workplace to help your team settle their nervous systems, clear mental noise, and return to an embodied state of calm and focus.
Whether in an open conference room, a quiet space, or seated at a desk, our sessions are designed to create the right conditions for quiet, release, and presence, creating a genuine pause employees can actually feel.
Each session is multi-modal and shaped around your team, your space, and the time you have. We draw from:
The focus isn't on doing everything. It's on creating a meaningful pause in the middle of everything else. Just an open invitation to step out of your head and back into your body.

REVIVE @ Get Calm believes that opportunities to pause, reconnect and care for ourselves should be accessible to people and communities who may not otherwise have access to them.
My academic background in Criminology, Law and Society and Public Policy, along with my work in facilitation, education and client support, has given me a particular interest in the people and communities who experience greater barriers to opportunity, support and wellbeing.
Later, my studies and training in yoga, mindfulness, meditation, breathwork and somatic practices added another dimension to that work: practical tools that can help people manage stress, reconnect with themselves and build greater capacity to navigate challenging circumstances.
These two areas may seem different on the surface, but to me they are connected by the same underlying question:
How can we create environments where people have greater opportunity to feel supported, connected and well?
We reserve a limited number of reduced-rate wellness sessions each year for registered charities, nonprofit organizations and community organizations serving marginalized or underserved populations.
We don't see wellness practices as a solution to the complex social and systemic issues these communities face. But we do believe they can be one meaningful piece of a larger picture—providing accessible opportunities to pause, breathe, reconnect and develop practical tools for wellbeing.
Wellness shouldn't be reserved for those who can afford a weekend retreat. We believe in making room for people and communities who are too often left out of the conversation.
Get Calm began on a 111-acre lavender farm and forest next to the Otonabee River. While bringing these offerings into office settings is an intentional expansion, our foundation comes directly from guiding small-group retreats and private to semi-private mindfulness experiences. Built on 5-star participant feedback and a focus on nervous system regulation, our approach is human first, unharried, and deeply practical.
Our work is rooted in the same things whether we're on the lavender farm or in a boardroom:
Movement, breath, stillness, awareness and creating enough space to notice how you're actually doing.
We don't believe wellness needs to be complicated. Sometimes you just need an hour to stop doing everything else.

Welcome to REVIVE @ Get Calm, a space to come back to yourself.
I'm Aneeta, Co-founder of Get Calm Lavender Farm and the facilitator behind REVIVE.
My approach is rooted in both formal training and lived experience, with a belief that meaningful change begins when we stop overriding ourselves and start listening.
I studied yoga and meditation in their birthplace, Rishikesh, India, where I lived in an ashram and immersed myself in traditional practices at the foot of the Himalayas. Since then, I've continued to weave together meditation, yoga, breathwork, somatic movement, sound, and other contemplative practices into experiences designed to help people slow down and reconnect with themselves.
My retreats are trauma-informed, grounded, and intentionally human. Nothing is forced and there is no expectation that you arrive already knowing how to meditate, move, or "heal."
Instead, you'll be offered practices and space to notice what is happening within you.
Sometimes that means becoming aware of tension you've been carrying. Sometimes it means recognizing an old emotional pattern. Sometimes it simply means realizing how exhausted you've been.
The goal isn't to become someone new.
It's to create enough quiet, safety, and awareness to hear your own inner guidance again, and reconnect with the person you were before you became so busy being everything everyone else needed you to be.
Bring the experience to them. No commute. No complicated registration.
No special equipment required. Just time to pause, reset and reconnect.
